Weekly Words To Inspire

This weekend I spent with my Mom's cousin's. Most of whom, I have never truly met. We were gathered for the Memorial Service for her cousin, David. This weekend was anything but a memorial, but a celebration of life. Not just the life of David, but the lives of the other's we have lost and our own lives. Many memories were made this weekend. Here's a few quotes inspired by my weekend.

In truth a family is what you make it. It is made strong, not by number of heads counted at the dinner table, but by the rituals you help family members create, by the memories you share, by the commitment of time, caring, and love you show to one another, and by the hopes for the future you have as individuals and as a unit.
-Marge Kennedy

In every conceivable manner, the family is the link to our past, bridge to our future.
- Alex Haley

Family means too much, friends are too valuable, and life is too short to put off sharing with people how much they really mean to you and pursuing whatever it is that makes you happy.
- Unknown

This is so true. So unbelievably true..
A family with an old person has a living treasure of gold.
- Chinese Proverb

Something to really think about..
No man on his death bed ever looked up into the eyes of his family and friends and said, " I wish I'd spent more time at the office.'

- Unknown

I wanted to add this video... This song is absolutely amazing.
"When it rains it pours and opens doors
And floods the floors we thought would always keep us safe and dry
And in the midst of sailing ships we sink our lips into the ones we love
That have to say goodbye "

Also - Pat has one of the best voices I have ever heard. If you get a chance to see Train do it. They will amaze you.

Take it easy.
