Weekly Words to Inspire - Christmas Movies

Scrooged
Frank Cross: It's Christmas Eve! It's... it's the one night of the year when we all act a little nicer, we... we... we smile a little easier, we... w-w-we... we... we cheer a little more. For a couple of hours out of the whole year, we are the people that we always hoped we would be!

Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas
"And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more." ~ Dr. Suess

Home Alone
"You can be too old for a lot of things but you're never too old to be afraid." - Mr. Marley

The Santa Clause
"Seeing isn't believing. Believing is seeing."

Muppets Christmas Carol
Ebenezer Scrooge: [in tears] Ebenezer Scrooge! Oh please Spirit, no! Hear me, I, I am not the man I was! Why would you show me this if I am past all hope?...

[sobbing]

Ebenezer Scrooge: I, I *will* honor Christmas, and try to keep it all the year! I will live my life in the past, the present and the future. I will not shut out the lessons the spirits have taught me! Tell me that I may sponge out the writing on this stone!

Bells of St. Mary
"If we don't fail sometimes, our successes don't mean anything. You must be strong." - Sister Mary Benedict

Miracle of 34th Street
"Faith is believing in things when common sense tells you not to." Doris Walker

White Christmas
"When your worried and you can't sleep. Just count your blessing instead of sheep and you will fall a sleep faster counting your blessings." - Bob Wallace

I can only relate to one of these movies. The main character is green. I am getting better though. Love your turkey roaster. Yum

Awe! Keep trying. White Christmas ALWAYS puts me in the Christmas spirit.... Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera Ellen. What more could one person as for?

Thanks! The cooker is the greatest thing. The food is absolutely unbelievable.
