Some RANDOM facts

Some random facts about my life:
  • I completed a 40 day challenge to run at least 3 miles everyday for 40 days. (I will admit, that I took a few days off here and there due to the humidity and my lungs, they were supplemented with Jazzercise classes)
  • I have begun my training for a 10k. Whoop.
  • I went to the doctors and I may or may not have asthma for the rest of my life. I’ll get a better picture in 3 months. But for now I’m on daily inhalers. No whoop.
  • I’m going to a Women’s Steelers Training Camp Day in July. I’m completely pumped about that.
  • I got to see an amazing artist on Monday. Joe Purdy. Check him out. He’s way different, but one of the coolest guys evvvvaaaaa.
  • This weekend marks my final travel weekend. In 14 weekends I would have travelled 9. I’m ready to stay at home for a while.
  • I finally got a phone where I can actually talk to people without it dying in 5 minutes. Bad side is it’s a touch screen only and auto correct and I just don’t get along.
  • I haven’t done anything crafy in what seems like forever. Hopefully that changes soon.
  • In the last 13 weeks I’ve lost 10 lbs. Yyayy for me.
  • I saw Pretty in Pink at an old movie theater… in my prom dress from senior year. Yes. I am that awesome…. Or an embarrassment. Either one.
  • I booked a ticket to Houston in November to visit a friend. My first big girl visit to a friend without driving. Totally pumped.
  • Everything is looking pretty darn good for this girl right now.
That’s all I got for the moment.

Weekly Words To Inspire - Michael Jackson

In honor of the anniversary of MJ's Death (June 25th) I've pulled out some quotes.... I know a lot of people don't like him.. but as most of you know, I've loved him since.... forever.
Enjoy the last week of June!

“In a world filled with hate, we must still dare to hope. In a world filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with despair, we must still dare to dream. And in a world filled with distrust, we must still dare to believe.”

“If you enter this world knowing you are loved and you leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with.”

"Our parents taught us to always be respectful and, no matter what you do, to give it everything you have. Be the best, not the second best."

'In the end, the most important thing is to be true to yourself and those you love and work hard. Work like there's no tomorrow. Train. Strive. Really train and cultivate your talent to the highest degree. Be the best at what you do. Get to know more about your field than anybody alive. Use the tools of your trade, if it's books or a floor to dance on or a body of water to swim in. Whatever it is, it's yours. That's what I've always tried to remember.'

"Lies run sprints, but the truth runs marathons."

Weekly Words to Inspire

Here we are approaching the last full week in June! I can't even believe that!!!!!

I hope all is well with everyone and you have been able to enjoy some decent weather!
I only have 2 this week.. this first one, I just love...

"It’s not about what happens.
It’s about perspective.
I may not be able to change what takes place, but I can always choose to change my thinking. "
-Michelle Sedas
This weekend I went back to Charleston, WV & my cousin indulged me in visiting the cutest antique story. I'm kicking myself for not buying this sign, but I found a similiar quote & I just love it.

"Quality is like buying oats. If you want clean fresh oats you must pay a fair price, however if you can be satisfied with oats that have already been through the horse they come a little cheaper."
- Unknown

Have a great week!
